You Know It's Time When...

You know it's time to pull out the down comforter when:
  • You find yourself smooshed up on "his" side of the cal-king bed 3 mornings in a row, giving him the bare minimum of bed space
  • You go to bed with PJ pants, fuzzy socks and a hoodie sweatshirt with the hood on, and you wake up with it all still on
  • You fall asleep on the floor in front of the heater vent attempting to get warm before hitting the chilly sheets, and end up with dried on contact lens and very chapped lips

Ugh, yeah. We've had our comforter out for awhile now, though we like to sleep with our window open. I think it's supposed to get down in the high 20s this week.

I hear you, sista! It's bloody cold in Utah, so the down this and the quilt that, with the flannel sheets were put on the bed about 2 months ago!

I just love how insulated the homes are in California.(Not) The type of cold here goes right to the bones. I am so glad we don't get snow.

Well, the Sunday before Thanksgiving it was like, 92 and now we are having a high of sixty.

Go figure.

That being said, I love cold weather.

Hey, are you in a rather warmish part of the world? In Milan we've had the comforters out for about a month and always a thick on sweater at home. It's the humid bone-chill more than the raw temps.

Love the cold weather, but I really hate being cold in bed. Horrible feeling!
