While wandering about drugstore.com's FSA store, looking for ways to spend some left over FSA dollars, I came across this product. Safe Sea, Sunblock with Jellyfish Sting Protective Lotion.
I suppose I don't swim in the ocean enough to know that this product exists, because I had never heard of it. Facinating.
Thought you might like to join me in tilting your head to one side and making a sort of a questioning "eeerrrrRRRRP" sound (you know like what a dog does when it is questioning something -- I do it often).

I didn't know they made such products. I guess it's because I live in a desert and not by the ocean. It must come in handy somewhere I guess.
And what does it do? Repel the jellyfish? Or take away the pain if you do get stung? eeerrrrRRRRP.
Oh, I just went and looked at the product. Maybe I'll get some if we ever go back to Hawaii.
eeerrrrRRRRP!! I live in the middle of a desert, so don't think I'll be using anything like. I wonder if it works on mosquito bites...hmmm...
Ally Bean - that WOULD make for an interesting story. Sorry to let you down, but I don't believe I'm going to start doing product reviews of such items just yet. Plus, I'd probably have to first get stung without any such protection to know if it works... no thanks.
Remember the Friends episode when Joey had to pee on Monica to deaden the sting of her jellyfish attack? :)
Yeah, I know some surfers, and have heard of it. But, I think in mixed company they would never, ever admit to using it. They pride themselves on their risk-taking ability, and this totally goes against that.
